Turning a dream into reality Toronto Western Hospital is home to the Krembil Neuroscience Centre – an internationally renowned clinical and research program in neural-related diseases and disorders. Krembil scientists find answers to spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s Disease, epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease and a range of neurodegenerative and neuromuscular conditions. We’re creating a world-class Research Centre – The Krembil Discovery Centre. Housing research space for Krembil Neurosciences and Rehab Solutions (RS) the $150 million facility will be the beginning of a new era in research for Toronto Western Hospital and the Toronto Western Research Institute. The new Krembil Discovery Centre is integral to the future of neuroscience research in Canada and will feature state-of-the-art facilities enabling cutting edge bench-side research that translates to better patient care. |
